Now, this gif always annoys me, because it shows up on my dash with comments like “omg this is the sexiest thing eva” and “men in suits hhhHHH” which is fair enough.

But this gif is a very poor example of a sexily suited man. His jacket is extremely ill fitted, as if it were made for a man four sizes up from him. His tie is crooked, too tight, and mis-lengthened. His shirt’s collar is the wrong size for him, and the way he buttons it makes it look as if he’s never done it before.

Here, ladies and gents, is how it is done.

You might want to learn a bit about suit buttoning before you try to tell other people what’s what.

I am fully and completely aware of the traditions which you are referring to, and I button as I do in spite of them because:

a) It looks better when you button the second button

b) That tradition was started by a fat monarch who couldn’t comfortably wear his clothes fastened and that is a stupid example to follow

Sickest Candle ever.

It’s like the olympic closing ceremony…

funny story about these, i had a red one on my birthday and everyone was like “wow this is the coolest fucking thing ever” and it plays music and all that, but when it came to actually eating the cake and taking the candle out, there was no off switch, so we had to smash it to pieces in the back garden to shut it up. turns out if you smash it up the music box still works. when i was in bed at 3am i could hear something so i opened the window, and it sounded like a tune you would hear in a horror movie before someone gets their body ripped to shreds and eaten. sleep well munchkins. you dont want this fucking thing.

You see this handsome young man right here? His name is Alexander Viorato-Rodriguez. He’s the most obnoxious, badass, hilarious-sweetheart, i’ve ever met. Alex was the kind of guy who loved everyone. He was selfless. Even though the problems in his life seemed like a mountain to others, he always made sure to take care of others first before himself. Every little thing he said made people laugh, if there was a joke, a prank, he was the center of it, he was always the source of laughter and happiness. And idc what sexuality you are, if you were even in his presence once you’ve had a crush on him. He was beautiful.

I’ve only known Alex for 2 years, but he has done more to touch my life and countless others than you can imagine. He was such an ispiration to myself and others, i’m blessed to have known him. Last year at a chapel service held by my school he gave us his testimony, his life story. When he was 8 years old his mother fell under the influence of drugs, although i don’t know the story as well as others, i remember how he carefully explained to us the day when he got a call at his grandmothers. His mother who had been in jail at the time had committed suicide. He said all he remember after that was his grandmother taking the phone, and then crying. Everyone was crying. He was only 8 years old.

Alex believed this happened to him for a reason, he believed that the death of his mother was a life lesson. He decided he would never do drugs, or drink alcohol. He told us that he had chosen God over those things, and he would look to Him for comfort, strength and guidance so that he would not follow the same path as his mother.

Just this year he decided he wanted a fresh start, and he transferred to a different school in our area. He thought that it was a good idea despite everyone’s protests, so he was given permission. If that’s what would make him happy, then why not? Less then a year there and he was introduced to drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism for his depression. Aside from his childhood many things happened to him that triggered his depression, but we’re only human.. And we can only take so much pain.. and anger.

Yesterday night, May 10th, 2013, Alex jumped from the Lexington bridge in my city into 30 degree waters. He was believed to have been high. Eye witness accounts say that they saw him struggling in the darkness, and he has not been seen since. Search and rescue looked for 4 hours last night, and a small team is still searching as of now. At 36 hours he will be pronounced dead.

They say that the water alone would have killed him within minutes last night, but i refuse to believe he is dead until his body is found.

Alex was strong, and I believe that he might still be out there somewhere, hiding maybe. Maybe he swam to shore last night and just hasn’t turned up yet. They say the chance is slim but i don’t care. I won’t give up on him.

UPDATE: Oh my god i can’t believe this his body was just found at a place called rocky point not too far from where he jumped. He’s gone..
